Eligibility
The CCBA certification eligibility is extended to individuals with some knowledge of business analysis and ideal for business professionals aspiring to become business analysts.
Pre-requisites
For the CCBA certification:
You need to have at least 3750 hours of business analysis work experience aligned with the BABOK Guide in the last seven years (of which a minimum of 900 hours is in two of the six knowledge areas OR 500 hours is in four of the six knowledge areas).
You also need to have 21 hours of professional development in the past four years and two references from a career manager, client, or CBAP recipient.

Ccba Certification Training Exam & Certification
To become a certified CCBA professional, you will have to undergo formal CCBA training from an endorsed education provider like FiestTech and successfully pass the CCBA Exam.
Prerequisites for the CCBA certification:

The Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) is the accreditation given by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) to candidates who have successfully completed the examination based on the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK Guide Version 3).
Fiesttech has a well-defined CCBA certification process that helps you face the challenges of the IT world. You need to meet the following conditions to unlock the certificate –
- You need to complete at least 85% of the CCBA course or attend one complete batch
- If your course has simulation exams you will need to complete it with the minimum passing score.
- You need to submit a project and get it approved by our panel of subject matter experts.
- In case your project is rejected, our subject matter experts will provide all necessary help to clear the project in your next attempt.
IIBA members receive a complimentary copy of the BABOK Guide Version 3 PDF. If you are an IIBA member, you can download BABOK Version 3 for your individual reference from the IIBA website. Non-members can purchase a copy of the BABOK Guide Version 3 PDF for 29.95 USD.
The BABOK Guide is the ideal resource and provides most of the reference material. We also recommend Simplilearn’s CCBA Certification course materials which are highly focused on the exam.

It’s a two-step process.
- You need to submit your application with the application fee (non-refundable). You need to pass the initial screening process for the CCBA exams.
- Once the IIBA assesses your qualifications for the exam, you should schedule a date for the exam with the official testing agency. You will receive an email with the instructions once your reservation is approved. CCBA Exam fee structure:
- The application fee is $145 USD and is not refundable (i.e. regardless of whether your application is approved or declined).
- The exam fee is $250 USD for IIBA members and $450 USD for non-members.

The CCBA exam 3 hours long and consists of 130 multiple choice questions that are scenario based. The exam assesses the candidates’ practical applications of the defined competencies for this level 2 certification in the IIBA Certification framework.

IIBA notifies you that your application is being processed within two weeks of receiving the application. The IIBA then assesses the application for completeness of the certification requirements. The IIBA will notify you of the results within 21 days of receiving the application via email.
