Eligibility
Scrum Master training typically doesn't have strict educational prerequisites. A high school diploma or equivalent is usually sufficient. It's helpful to have a foundational understanding of Agile principles and values. Some training programs might recommend that you complete an introductory Agile course before pursuing Scrum Master training.

Safe Scrum Master Training Exam & Certification
There are no prerequisites for this course regardless of experience. However, the following requirements are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification exam:
- Knowledge of Agile concepts and principles
- Understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and eXtreme Programming (XP)
- Working awareness of software and hardware development processes
Professionals who pass the SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification exam will receive:
- SAFe Scrum Master certificate
- SAFe Scrum Master digital badge for online profiles
- One-year certified membership as a SAFe Scrum Master including access to the SSM Community of Practice
- SAFe Scrum Master certification usage guide with SSM certification marks Learning resources to support you throughout your SAFe journey
Following are the three steps involved in the certification process for a SAFe Scrum Master:
- Step One: Attend the Leading SAFe course.
- Step Two: Attempt the SAFe Scrum Master online test by Scaled Agile.
- Step Three: Pass the test with a minimum score of 33 out of 45 questions answered correctly (73-percent passing score).
If you fail the SAFe Scrum Master Manager Exam in your first attempt, Second attempt on exam (first retake) can be taken immediately. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait. The cost of the first exam is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $50.
SAFe Scrum Master Certification is valid for one year after you pass your exam.
SAFe certification is provided by the reputed Scaled Agile.
With this SAFe Scrum Master certification course, you will have one attempt to pass the exam. The cost of the first exam is included in your course registration fee (if taken within 30 days of the course completion).
